Miss Universe Vietnam 2018 is the latest beauty queen to sport ear cuffs that Catriona made popular

The cuffs are definitely on and they are quite the “in” thing to wear right now in the pageant world.

Over the weekend, Miss Universe Vietnam 2018 H'Hen Niê posted photos from a recent event she attended.

H'Hen Niê sports a chic pixie cut, but she changed it up with the help of some extensions. She then accentuated her side swept gentle curls with an ear cuff.

Paired with a bejewelled gown, many Filipino fans pointed out — somewhat irately — that her OOTD resembled Miss Universe Philippines 2018 Catriona Gray’s winning look from Binibining Pilipinas.

The same issue was raised by Filipino fans when Miss Universe Ecuador 2018 Virginian Limongi Silva was crowned.

But Catriona sees no problems with the similarities between their looks. "The earcuff isn't mine, the gold color gown isn't mine, so I mean I don't see a problem with it. I mean, I'm happy for her, she won. I know behind her is her own journey.”

Copying or not, it certainly looks like the ear cuff is here to stay this pageant season. Will it lead to a crown for these women?
