Want to be the next Catriona Gray? Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc. (BPCI) announced on Friday it is now accepting applications for candidates for this year's pageant.

Applicants may download the form from the Binibining Pilipinas website.

The deadline for submitting applications is on Friday, March 15.

BPCI said in a press release that applicants will undergo a rigorous screening process to be conducted by a committee led by BPCI chairperson Stella Marquez Araneta.

Those who pass the screening process will then become official candidates for the 2019 pageant.

The official candidates will then show what they've got as they participate in BPCI activities including the talent competition, national costume competition, Parade of Beauties in Araneta Center, media presentation and interviews, and charity visits, among others.

The grand coronation night will be held in June.

At stake are the following beauty titles: Miss Universe Philippines, Binibining Pilipinas International, Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental, Binibining Pilipinas Supranational, Binibining Pilipinas Globe, and Binibining Pilipinas Grand International.

Last year's winners shone brightly on the international stage.

Catriona Gray was last year's Miss Universe Philippines, and went on to become Miss Universe 2018, the fourth Filipina to bag the crown.

Karen Gallman, Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental, became the first-ever Miss Intercontinental.

Ahtisa Manalo, Binibining Pilipinas International, was named first-runner up at the Miss International pageant.

Jehza Huelar, Binibining Pilipinas Supranational, was in the top 10 of Miss Supranational.

Michele Gumabao, Binibining Pilipinas Globe, was in the top 15 of Miss Globe—KG, GMA News
