Celebrity hairdresser and TV host Ricky Reyes, who's gay himself, said that it's ridiculous for gays to enter women's bathrooms.

In an interview with "Dobol B sa News TV" Wednesday, Reyes said, "Alam mo, kalokohan para sa isang bading na pumasok sa banyo ng pambabae. There's so many friendly toilets for all.

In light of the incident in Quezon City where transwoman Gretchen Diez was dragged by a mall personnel and handcuffed by police officers after wanting to use the women's bathroom, Reyes commented, "Lalaki naman kami eh. Bakit kailangan kong magbistida at kumalat-kalat sa kalye?"

For Reyes, there's no difference among the LGBTQ+ community. At the end of the day, all are gay with just different labels.

The incident in Quezon City sparked outrage, with many pushing harder for the passage of the Sexual Orientation Gender Identity and Expression (SOGIE) Equality bill, also known as the anti-discrimination bill.

However, Reyes said that there are other things the government has to address aside from this bill.

"Ang dami na nating problema. May droga, may corruption, maraming nagugutom, maraming hindi nag-aaral," he said.
