Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas 2019 Katrina Llegado will be competing on her birthday. She wants the crown as her b-day gift

Twenty-one year-old Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas 2019 Katrina Llegado wants something for her birthday, and that's winning another crown for the Philippines at the international pageant in Bolivia.

"Coronation night will be on November 9, and it's actually my birthday. So hopefully, I can bring home the crown not only for myself but also for the Philippines," Katrina said on Unang Hirit monday.

"[It's the] perfect birthday gift for me," she added.

The 21-year-old beauty queen appeared on the GMA-7 morning show together with her fellow Miss World Philippines 2019 winners: Miss World Philippines 2019 Michelle Dee, Miss Tourism Philippines 2019 Glyssa Perez, Miss Eco Philippines 2019 Kelley Day and Miss World Philippines 2019 2nd princess Casie Banks.

Katrina will be the first of the group to compete on the international level, leaving for Bolivia on October 28.

She says she has a month of preparations ahead of her. "Hopefully, in a whole month, I'll be able to use everything, be able to train, and prepare for Bolivia," she said.

Katrina is hoping to be the second Filipina to win the Reina Hispanoamericana title following Winwyn Marquez, who took home the crown in 2017. — Margaret Claire Layug/LA, GMA News
