16-year old 'self-taught' Pinoy makeup artist shines on Instagram

Chris Esteban Oliveros is a young 'self-taught' make-up artist whose creative works caught the eye of netizens on Instagram.

From sporting mind-blowing optical illusions to vibrant colors on his face, Oliveros admitted that he started putting makeup a year ago just for fun.

"I started last November, and I just pursued it 'cuz my FB friends liked it," he said, in an interview with GMA Social Media team.

Oliveros said he learned to put on make-up because of the beauty vlogs he binge-watched on YouTube, in an exclusive interview with GMA News Online.

Even if he started this hobby a year ago, a quick browse through Oliveros' IG profile would show his skill.

Oliveros shared that he was sometimes "so inspired to recreate other people's looks."

"But I make sure that it's not like a Xerox Copy. I always put a twist of my choice on it para po mas genuine and unique," he said.
