Walk with Mary marks triduum fiesta celebration in Cebu

Thousands of devotees took part in the foot procession early Friday morning dubbed as "Walk with Mary."

In the photos posted on the Facebook page of the Baslica Minore del Sto. Niño show the people gathered at dawn along at the Fuente Osmeña and along Osmeña boulevard where security forces were also stationed to keep the peace and order along the route.

After the mass, a Misa de Traslacion will be held at the Pilgrim Center at the Basilica del Sto. Niño as part of preparations for the transfer of the pilgrim image of the Sto. Niño to the National Shrine of Saint Joseph in Mandaue City via motorcade.

The miraculous image will be returned to the Basilica Minore del Sto. Niño at dawn on Saturday through a fluvial procession along Mactan Channel. — BAP, GMA News
