Good Samaritan gives cash to fellow market-goer for baby's milk
The internet was won over by a man spotted giving cash to his fellow market-goer at a supermarket.
Netizen Marianne Ercillo shared that she was buying groceries at SM Southmall when she saw the man, wearing white, give what looked like P1,000 bills to a stranger who was also in line at the cashier.
The other man then briefly left the line, only to come back with two packs of milk.
"Maraming salamat po, pandagdag sa gatas ni baby," he was heard saying.
Touched, Marianne shared the story and said, "Indeed, angels are among us."
The enhanced community quarantine in Luzon has caused many Filipinos to temporarily lose income as mobility is restricted, and establishments closed shop.
The measure, implemented to contain the spread of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), is set to be lifted on April 30.
