Basilica de La Sagrada Familia - Barcelona, Spain

This marvelous structure was designed by renowned artist Antoni Gaudi, who is one of the most important figures in modern architecture.

The Basilica, which was inspired by the Gothic and Art Nouveau forms, started construction in 1882 but is still under construction until this day.

Cathedral of Brasilia - Brasilia, Brazil

The Metropolitan Cathedral of Our Lady of Aparecida can be found in Brazil’’s capital, Brasilia.

Designed by Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer, the structure is famous for its crown-like beauty and stunning glass ceiling.

Duomo di Milano - Milan, Italy

This Gothic style structure took six centuries to complete, and it was built with Candoglia marble which has a beautiful rose color.

On top of it is the famous “Madonnina” statue, which is considered “the heart and soul of Milan.”

St. Patrick’s Cathedral - New York City

Somewhere in the concrete jungle of New York City is a neo-Gothic style church that was built in the 1800s.

Designed by American architect James Renwick, the structure is one of the largest churches in North America.

Seville Cathedral - Andalusia, Spain

The Cathedral of Saint May of the See is where Christopher Columbus was buried.

The predominantly Gothic and Renaissance style cathedral is also famous for bell-tower, Giralda.

Basilica San Marco - Venice, Italy

The Patriarchal Cathedral Basilica of Saint Mark is considered a living heritage of the Roman, Byzantine, and Venetian culture.

The holy structure is definitely unique, with domes similar to minarets found throughout the Middle East.

St. Peter’s Basilica in Vatican City

The Papal Basilica of Saint Peter is considered one of the holiest of all Christian sites in the world.

It’s also home to some of the most important works of art in history, including the Gian Lorenzo Bernini’s Baldacchino and Michelangelo’s Pieta statue.
