NASA is letting you see what the Hubble Space Telescope saw on your birthday

What did Hubble see on your birthday? NASA has made it simple for you to find out.

The Hubble Space Telescope, dubbed as Earth's "best eye in the sky", celebrates its 30th anniversary in orbit this year.

As celebration, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) decided to release a series of interactive features, including a site that allows you to see what the Hubble Space Telescope saw on your birthday.

All you have to do is input the month and day you were born and it shows you cosmic wonders captured by the telescope on that day, be it a supernova, a cluster of galaxies or colliding stars.

"Hubble explores the universe 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. That means it has observed some fascinating cosmic wonder every day of the year, including on your birthday," the agency wrote.

According to NASA, Hubble, launched back in April 1990, was the first major optical telescope to be placed in space.

Because of its unique design, astronauts were able to repair and upgrade the telescope with advanced technology, making Hubble one of NASA's "longest-living and most valuable observatories" that has given the world an "unobstructed view of the universe".

Make sure to you can share your birthday image on social media with the hashtag #Hubble30!
