New music from Blackpink to drop on June 26

Blackpink dropped some much awaited news for its fans — it seems that new music is coming on June 26.

In a teaser poster, the K-pop girl group announced that a pre-release single is set to be unveiled on June 26, 6 p.m.

The announcement set Twitter into a frenzy, with thrilled fans causing the hashtag "#BLACKPINKISCOMING" to trend on the number one spot.

Aside from the group's collaboration with Lady Gaga, Blackpink hasn't had a comeback in over a year.

The collaboration song "Sour Candy" peaked at number one in Spotify Philippines Top 50 Chart, and became the number one trending video on YouTube shortly after its release.
