These cute videos from Linya-Linya remind us of the little things that bring us joy, like adobo!

Trust local brand Linya-Linya to bring to the front all the little things that bring joy to our life.

After that nice, calming video and an animated short celebrating Pride, the local retailer has now released a short video series dedicated to the little things "that make us happy and remind us of being Filipino."

Called "Love, Linya-Linya," the video series currently has two videos centered on food. One is dedicated to popular Filipino dish adobo, while the other, to Filipino kitchen staple, Tupperware. Both were written in the form of a love letter.

The video on adobo is shot almost like food porn — with close-ups of the dish, a focus on the sauce, another on the fat.

Paired with earnest, sincere words of gratitude, you'd almost expect to cry in the end but Linya-Linya breaks it with a joke: "Don't ever rest on your laurels, except na lang kung dahon ng laurel."

Meanwhile the video dedicated to Tupperware showed how the container is a big deal in most Filipino households, especially to mothers, who would often use it for their children's baon and expect it always to be returned.

At one point of the video, they wrote, "Kapag nawawala ka: Nagwawala si Mama," which is a hilariously relatable note to many Filipino households.

With the world still quite uncertain and with COVID-19 cases still on the rise — even after six months in quarantine, we may add — these videos prove to be a respite in absolutely trying times.  — Jannielyn Ann Bigtas/LA, GMA News
