After the Miss Universe Philippines 2020 coronation event, Miss Universe 2015 titleholder Pia Wurtzbach gave advice to the women who lost the pageant.

“Real talk, sa ’kin when it comes to losing. Advice lagi ... stay positive,” Pia said during a live episode of “Queentuhan” Saturday. “It’s okay to feel bad, it’s okay to be sad, it’s okay to be angry, it’s okay to cry.”

She added, “Kung kailangan lumayo sa pageants for a few days, for a few weeks, or even months, gets na gets ko ... parang may nakipagbreak sayo. Magpahinga ka muna.”

The beauty queen also advised the candidates to just take a step back and reassess everything.

“Isipin ko ano next step ko. Continue pa ba ako?” she shared.

Iloilo candidate Rabiya Mateo took home the Miss Universe Philippines 2020 crown during the coronation event on Sunday.

Aside from winning the crown, she was also honored with the Best in Swimsuit award during the preliminary competition. – Kaela Malig/RC, GMA News
