Miss World Philippines 'optimistic' about Kelley Day's health following Miss Eco International pageant

Miss World Philippines has assured that it is working closely with the organizers of the recently concluded Miss Eco International pageant in ensuring the health and safety of the candidates.

The organization released a statement amid rumors that some candidates tested positive for COVID-19.

 

 

 

"The AVL Group of Companies is coordinating closely with the Miss Eco International organization in ensuring the health and safety of all the candidates in its recently concluded pageant," national director Arnold Vegafria was quoted as saying.

"Our official candidate, Ms. Kelley Day, remains our topmost priority, and we remain optimistic as we await the results of the organizers' routinary medical testing procedures," he added.

Philippine bet Kelley Day won 1st Runner-Up at the Miss Eco International held in Egypt on Monday (Manila time). She also won the Best National Costume in the National Costume Competition of the pageant.

Named Miss Eco International was Gizzelle Mandy Uys of South Africa. —JCB, GMA News
