'KMJS' just became the most followed Filipino TV program on Facebook with 23 million followers


"Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho" just hit 23 million Facebook followers on Thursday, making it the most followed Filipino TV program on the social media platform.

The milestone came a little over a month after reaching 22 million followers.

The huge drivers for the 23 million followers are from viral social media promotions, strong video segments, cash giveaways, and its synergy with television.

Their online posts also have a good engagement record with over three million organic interactions including likes, comments, and shares per week.

Just five months into 2021, KMJS amassed over half a billion video views on Facebook with 572,757,794 views.

Other GMA-7 shows with the biggest accounts and largest number of followers in the Philippines include "Eat Bulaga" with over 18.9 million followers, and "Wowowin" with 14.7 million followers.

Meanwhile, GMA News has over 19 million followers on Facebook.

Last April,  KMJS took the top spot of Facebook Philippines' trending topics on Local News Entertainment for March.
