Binibining Pilipinas 2021 candidates reveal the first thing they'll eat after the pageant
Given their strict diets during pageant season, the Binibining Pilipinas 2021 candidates are looking forward to eating to their hearts' content after the coronation night.
In an exclusive interview with GMA News Online, the ladies revealed the first thing they'll eat once the pageant is over.
Samgyupsal was a popular choice, with Laguna’s Alexandra Mae Rosales, La Union’s Carina Cariño, and Pampanga’s Czarina Guiao admitting to craving it.
Zamboanga’s Bellatrix Tan, who also plans to eat samgyupsal, added that she would also like some chocolate cake and ice cream.
Meanwhile, milk tea is life for Micca Rosal from Agoncillo, Batangas and Mercedes Pair from Cebu.
For Oriental Mindoro’s Graciella Lehmann, it's lasagna.
Then there are those who would opt for good old Filipino food, like Gabrielle Camille Basiano from Borongan, Eastern Samar, who wants to eat adobo with rice.
Rizal's Honey Grace Cartasano wants inihaw na liempo "with toyo, sili, and calamansi, and lots of rice."
Justine Beatrice Felizarta from Padada, Davao del Sur said she wants her favorite Filipino food, kare-kare.
Ma. Ruth Erika Quin from Nueva Ecija, on the other hand, is craving some ginisang monggo.
The grand coronation event will be held on July 11 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. It will be hosted by Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray and Miss Grand International 2016 1st runner-up Nicol Cordoves.
This year’s pageant will crown four queens: Binibining Pilipinas International, Binibining Pilipinas Grand International, Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental, and Binibining Pilipinas Globe. —JCB, GMA News
