At 20 years old, Mavy and Cassy are investing in real estate
Mavy and Cassy Legaspi are 20 years old, but they are already thinking several years into their future.
In an interview with GMA reporters on Monday, the twins said their parents Carmina Villarroel and Zoren Legaspi have inspired them to invest in real estate at an early age as they've been making their own income since they were kids.
"Mavy and I have been doing commercials since we were three years old, so growing up, our parents decided na it's best if we invest on land," Cassy told GMA's Nelson Canlas in a zoom interview.
Mavy and Cassy said that Carmina and Zoren let them have the "final say" when it comes to managing their finances.
The twins, however, agreed that their parents often knew what was best.
"They tell us naman where our money goes and may final say din kami sa pera namin," Mavy said. "Kung gusto namin 'yung investment or kung di namin trip 'yung investment, but most of the time naman very smart decisions naman."
("They tell us where our money goes and we have a final say on our money. If we like the investment or we don't like it, but most of the time they're smart decisions.")
"We trust our parents naman. We know that they know what's best," Cassy said.
Cassy and Mavy Legaspi have come a long way since their days as commercial babies and teeny boppers.
The twins, who just renewed their contracts with GMA Artist Center, are two of the network's most promising talents.
Mavy is set to star alongside Heart Evangelista in her upcoming teleserye "I Left My Heart in Sorsogon," while Cassy captivated audiences with her performance in the rom-com "First Yaya." She was also just announced as the country's newest Palmolive girl.
