National Bureau of Investigation agents raided a drug store in Sta. Cruz, Manila, and seized several counterfeit Viagra drugs worth more than P100,000, the bureau announced Thursday. The NBI said the operation stemmed from a complaint from Pfizer Inc, developer and distributor of Viagra. On February 1, the NBI verified Pfizer’s complaint. NBI agents said the fake Viagra drugs were being sold at the Shun Cheng Tong Chinese Drug Store at 528 Ronquillo St. Judge Virgilio Almeda of the Manila Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 10, issued a search warrant and NBI agents set up a sting operation last February 7. As many as 144 boxes of counterfeit Pfizer Viagra and 20 boxes of Tiger Viagra worth P114,800 were confiscated in the operation, the NBI said.
