Joyce Pring admits feeling insecure over pregnancy weight, but says she's 'too busy being grateful'
Joyce Pring opened up about gaining weight due to pregnancy during an Instagram Q&A session.
In her Instagram Stories, Joyce Pring addressed a fan who asked if she lost some weight after giving birth to Baby Eliam in July.
The celebrity host and first-time mommy said she gained around 40 lbs during her pregnancy, but dropping the weight wasn't her number one priority.
"So I've lost a bit of weight since giving birth, but I'm still not in my pregnancy weight," Joyce replied.
"But here’s the deal," she added. "I have been eating like a horse and honestly I don’t mind it. Right now my priority is to stay healthy, happy and sane because my son / family needs me."
Joyce admitted feeling "insecure" about the change in her body, but she learned to accept it wholeheartedly.
"I'm too busy being grateful for my body which was pregnant + gave birth + currently sustaining my little boy to pressure on it to lose weight. I feel good, and I’m grateful for that," she said.
"Of course, I have days when I feel insecure when I see pics of myself and I don’t look as fit as I used to be, but at the same time, I’m embracing the change and praising God for my wonderful strong, chunky body," she added.
