Beatrice Gomez flies to Israel for Miss Universe competition

Beatrice Luigi Gomez has finally left for Israel to compete in the Miss Universe competition!

On Instagram, Saturday, the Miss Universe Philippines 2021 titleholder shared a video of herself clad in a beautiful grey outfit as she waved the Philippine flag.

"This is it! We're finally on our way to the universe!" she said.

Instagram screen grab Miss Universe Philippines national director Shamcey Supsup also took the time to wish Beatrice good luck.

"Have a safe trip to Israel! Bring home the crown," she wrote, sharing a photo of the two of them together.

Beatrice made history in September after becoming the first openly out member of the LGBTQIA+ community to win the Miss Universe Philippines crown.
