Over 600 families affected by Odette in Southern Leyte get Noche Buena packages from GMA Kapuso Foundation

Following the devastation brought about by Typhoon Odette in Southern Leyte, over 600 families in Bontoc received Noche Buena packages from GMA Kapuso Foundation.

As reported on “24 Oras” Tuesday, one of the residents, Victoria Cojano of Barangay Sampongon, couldn’t help but get emotional after receiving help.

“Malaking pasalamat namin sa GMA Kapuso Foundation dahil sila ’yung pinaka unang nagbigay sa’min ng tulong dito sa aming barangay. Laking halaga ito sa’min lalo na’t malapit na ang Pasko,” she said.

A total of 618 families in the barangay received Noche Buena packages. With the help of the Philippine Army, GMA Kapuso Foundation is also conducting relief operations in Sogod and Surigao.
