Samantha Bernardo tests positive for COVID-19
Samantha Bernardo on Monday revealed that she tested positive for COVID-19.
Sharing a stunning photo of herself on Instagram, the Miss Grand International 2020 1st runner-up announced that she tested positive for her RT-PCR test on Sunday.
"It's unfortunate because I was supposed to do a lot of work but this calls for home quarantine and rest days," she wrote. "I am feeling weak and have colds as symptoms but I am still able to smell and taste."
"I promise that I will take care of myself and hopefully recover faster," she added. "Stay safe and healthy everyone. Health is wealth! Love you all."
Samantha also jokingly shared that she posted the stunning photo of herself so she'll still be "ka-vogue" during quarantine.
Her fellow beauty queens Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach and Miss Globe 2021 Maureen Montagne also contracted the virus.
Meanwhile, many other celebrities such as Iya Villania, Ina Raymundo, Arnold Clavio, and Tuesday Vargas have also tested positive for COVID-19 amid the rising cases.
