Netizens are swooning over this Pinoy lookalike of BTS member V

Netizens are swooning over a Pinoy TikToker because of his resemblance to BTS member V.

Known on TikTok as Mi Zery, the 20-year-old internet star's real name is Khrane Nathaniel Cabañez, a communication engineering sophomore.

In an interview with Make Your Day, Cabañez said he didn't initially have plans to use TikTok. He didn't even get persuaded by his ex-crush to try it!

Cabañez did eventually get around to checking out the app in January 2021. He first caught netizens' attention in June the same year.

However, he said that he personally doesn't really see his resemblance to V.

"Hindi ko naman kasi nakikita sa sarili ko na magkamukha kami, sanay na siguro ako sa mukha ko," he said.

Still, Cabañez gamely admitted that he was a fan of the global sensation BTS.

"Nanonood ako ng videos nila, maganda kasi 'yung music nila, kaya pinapakinggan ko 'yung music nila," he said.

V is one of the seven members of South Korean supergroup BTS. He debuted alongside RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, and Jungkook in 2013. —JCB, GMA News
