Miss Benguet exits Miss Universe Philippines 2022 competition early

Miss Benguet Shawntel Cruz has ended her journey at the Miss Universe Philippines 2022 competition.

According to pageant host Pia Wurtzbach, Shawntel had to exit early because she was feeling under the weather.

Beatrice Gomez passes on her crown to one of the 31 Miss Universe Philippines 2022 candidates at the coronation night on April 30 at SM Mall of Asia Arena.

The pageant is hosted by Miss Universe titleholders Pia, Iris Mittenaere, and Demi-Leigh Tebow. – RC, GMA
