Herlene Budol meets Miss Grand International president Nawat Itsaragrisil

Herlene “Hipon Girl” Budol has met the president of Miss Grand International!

On Tuesday, the Kapuso and Binibining Pilipinas 2022 candidate shared a photo of them together.

“I’m glad I finally got to meet the president of Miss Grand International organization Mr. Nawat Itsaragrisil,” Herlene said on her caption.

“My dream is to be the first Miss Grand International from my country [and] use it as a platform to raise awareness of my cause,” she added.

On their respective Instagram stories, Nawat and Binibining Pilipinas also shared snippets of the candidates’ presentation held earlier today.

Winners of Binibining Pilipinas 2022 will go on to represent the country at the Miss International, Miss Globe, Miss Intercontinental, and Miss Grand International pageants.

The Philippines’ Samantha Bernardo was named Miss Grand International 2020 first runner-up during the coronation held in Bangkok, Thailand, in March 2021.

In December, Binibining Pilipinas Grand International 2021 Samantha Panlilio bowed out early after failing to make it to the competition’s top 20. – RC, GMA News
