GMA Public Affairs social media manager, among the 14 fellows for the 2022 Asia Journalism Fellowship

GMA Public Affairs social media manager Aileen Rae Perez has been selected to take part in the 2022 Asia Journalism Fellowship (AJF). 

Perez runs a team of young journalists creating online content for the network’s social media channels, which grew from two to nearly 121 million followers across all platforms.

She is joined by 13 other journalists from all over Asia including Malaysia, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, India, Indonesia, Nepal, Singapore, South Korea, and Sri Lanka.

The AJF 2022 will run from August 15 to September 23. It will be conducted online for four weeks before fellows fly to Singapore to visit places of interest, meet officials, academics, and other media personnel.

AJF is funded by the Temasek Foundation and hosted by the Institute of Policy Studies at the National University of Singapore’s Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy.

The program brings together seasoned journalists from varied backgrounds each year to allow them to learn and work together amid changing and widely different circumstances.
