Herlene Budol says she's ready to compete in international pageants

Herlene Budol might not be ending her pageant journey just yet.

Her manager Wilbert Tolentino revealed in a vlog that he is looking for international pageants for Herlene to compete in.

“Sobrang proud kaming lahat sa iyo, Ms. Herlene dahil naiuwi mo ang first runner-up at ikaw pa rin ang nag-te-trending ngayon sa lahat ng social media,” he said in a speech during her homecoming in Angono, Rizal.

Wilbert said that Herlene will still speak Tagalog during her future competitions.

Dapat proud tayo na isa tayong Pilipino," he said.

He added that Herlene will retain her showbiz and endorsement commitments.

Herlene, meanwhile, is up for the task.

Herlene answering in Tagalog during the Binibining Pilipinas 2022 pageant’s Q&A portion became one of her trending moments.

A fan favorite, Herlene finished as the 1st Runner-Up and received seven special awards. —Nika Roque/JCB, GMA News
