Premature baby grows up to be a healthy girl with help of GMA Kapuso Foundation
A premature baby has grown up to be a healthy 5-year-old girl with the help of GMA Kapuso Foundation.
According to “24 Oras” on Friday, “miracle baby” Kim Mhira of Concepcion, Tarlac, was born in 2017 at only five months.
She was so small then that she measured only as big as a 1 liter soft drink bottle and wore doll clothes.
Because her family couldn’t afford hospital treatment, Kim slept between two glass bottles with warm water and one lamp as her incubator.
Her family sought help from GMA Kapuso Foundation, which helped move Kim to a hospital for proper treatment.
After five years, Kim is now a healthy, smart, and happy young girl who is an incoming kindergarten student.
“Bawat araw na nakikita ko iyong anak ko sabi ko talagang miracle nga ang anak ko,” said her mother Jennifer Dula.
GMA Kapuso Foundation monitored Kim’s health over the years to ensure her normal growth. This year, the foundation sent groceries, hygiene kits, and vitamins to their family, and school supplies for Kim.
