Daniel Craig receives same honor given to his character James Bond by Royal Family

Daniel Craig was given the Order of St. Michael and St. George medal by the United Kingdom’s Royal Family.

In the photo shared by the Royal Family Tuesday, the Princess Royal Anne was seen giving the medal to the actor.

“We’ve been expecting you,” the caption read. “The Princess Royal presents Daniel Craig with the Order of St. Michael and St. George - the same honor held by his character James Bond.”

Craig received the recognition for his “outstanding contribution to film and theatre.”

He portrayed secret agent 007 in 2006 with “Casino Royale.” He ended it with “No Time to Die,” which premiered in Philippine cinemas last December.
