Choir surprises customers with concert-like performance at a pares house
What’s better than eating a serving of Filipino braised beef stew with garlic fried rice and a bowl of clear soup on a cold holiday season? An angelic performance, maybe?
As seen on Lei Alviz’s “24 Oras” report Thursday, customers at a pares house were surprised to get a surprise performance from Fidelis Choir of the Redemptorist Church in Cebu.
With the group’s beautiful voices and perfect harmony, it did seem like there was a mini concert there.
But, get this. Analin Bayo said that wasn’t planned at all, and they were just jamming.
“We’re so overwhelmed and so happy and so thankful po sa mga taong uma-appreciate po sa kanta po namin,” she said. “Ang purpose namin ay makapag touch ng hearts ng tao.”
Bayo said everyone in the choir dedicates some of their time in singing as it’s their way to give service to the Lord. They also join concerts, contests, and events, among others.
Apart from their talent, Bayo also believes what makes their performances inspirational is their bond.—Franchesca Viernes/LDF, GMA Integrated News
