Filipino creative director creates Beyoncé’s gown for private concert
A Pinoy creative director wowed with a gown that Beyoncé wore for a private concert.
As seen on Oscar Oida’s “24 Oras” report Wednesday, the “Love on Top” singer strutted a bright yellow number during a performance at a hotel launch in Dubai.
This was made by Ryan Pacioles, a creative director at Dubai-based boutique Atelier Zuhra. While it’s not new to him to dress celebrities, the designer still considered this experience a dream come true.
“It’s an overwhelming feeling na madamitan siya ‘cause it’s only in a dream na mabihisan mo siya and unexpected happiness yung naramdaman mo, yung ‘di ka makapaniwala,” he said.
Pacioles had always been passionate with fashion. After studying at a fashion and arts school in Manila, he had the chance to work in the Middle East.
He has since been able to work with several stars including Nicki Minaj, Christina Aguilera, Paris Hilton, and Carrie Underwood. His works have also been featured in events such as the London Fashion Week.
Reaching this milestone, Pacioles said among the mindsets that got him through was to be authentic.
“It’s important to have a unique perspective and a vision that sets you apart from the rest. Be true to yourself.”
