Marvel Studios' 'Secret Invasion' starring Samuel L. Jackson, Emilia Clarke drops trailer

What happens if the Avengers are missing in action?

Apparently, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury takes over. That's the premise of Marvel Studios' new series, "Secret Invasion."

He teams up with Talos (played by Ben Mendelsohn from "Captain Marvel") in the fight against shape-shifting Skrulls.

They're also joined by Emilia Clarke ("Game of Thrones") as Talos' daughter named G'iah, Cobie Smulders as Agent Maria Hill ("The Avengers"), Don Cheadle ("Iron Man 2") as James Rhodes, and Oscar-winning actress Olivia Colman as Special Agent Sonya Falsworth ("The Favourite").

Kingsley Ben-Adir (in the upcoming "Barbie" film) also makes an appearance in the trailer as the villain Rebel Skrull Leader Gravik.

Though he isn't in the trailer, Martin Freeman ("Black Panther") is also back as CIA agent Everett K. Ross.

The show will be streaming on Disney+.
