Miss Universe Philippines 2023 names Top 18

The 38 candidates vying for the Miss Universe Philippines 2023 crown have been reduced to over half during the pageant’s coronation night at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on Saturday.

Below are the 18 finalists who will advance to the next round:

• Tiaong, Quezon - Afia Adorable Yeboah
• Sorsogon - Rein Hillary Carrascal
• Mandaluyong - Iman Franchesca Cristal
• Bacolod - Jan Marie Bordon
• Cebu Province - Emmanuelle Vera
• Marinduque - Christine Salcedo
• Zambales - Christine Opiaza
• Cavite - Samantha Panlilio
• Davao Oriental - Klyza Ferrando Castro
• Baguio - Krishnah Marie Gravidez
• Isabela - Kimberlyn Acob
• Bulacan - Princess Anne Marcos

Agusan Del Norte's Jannarie Zarzoso also won the special awards Face of Social Media and Glam Shot Challenge.

Capiz's Shayne Glenmae Maquiran won Miss Friendship, Bohol's Pauline Amelinckx won the Swimsuit Challenge, and Pampanga's Mary Angelique Manto won the Runway Challenge.

Miss Universe Philippines 2022 Celeste Cortesi is set to crown her successor at the end of the coronation night. Reigning Miss Universe R’Bonney Gabriel is among the event’s special guests. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
