Miss Universe 2022 R'Bonney Gabriel

R'Bonney Gabriel closed out her Miss Universe reign "with a heart full of joy and immense gratitude."

The Filipina-American queen posted photos of her final days as Miss Universe during the 2023 pageant in El Salvador. She then looked back on her journey and how much her life had changed.

"From day 1 of training to completing my reign, I experienced how your life can really transform if you invest in being the highest form of yourself every single day," R'Bonney said.

"Universe helped me unlock my wildest dreams and gave me the greatest opportunity to make an impact through my life long passion of arts and design. Our personal gifts and talents must be contributed back into this world, and I thank this organization for making this possible."

R'Bonney was crowned Miss Universe 2022 in January and is the first Filipino-American queen to have the title. Aside from being a beauty queen, she is also a sustainable fashion designer.

She took her final walk in a stunning creation by Rian Fernandez.

R'Bonney crowned Nicaragua's Sheynnis Palacios as Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador on Sunday (Philippine time).

The Philippines' representative Michelle Dee finished in the Top 10 and won three special awards.
