Heads up “Star Wars” fans! A “Star Wars” film concert is happening in Manila this September.

Film Concerts PH announced on social media, Wednesday, that the “Star Wars: A New Hope in Concert” will be held at The Theater at Solaire on Sept. 7 at 7 p.m. and on Sept. 8 at 2 p.m.

“The movie that started it all is coming back to the big screen, backed by the live performance of a full orchestra!” the concert promoter wrote.

“Relive the magic of the Skywalker Saga in Star Wars: A New Hope in Concert, for the first time in the Philippines!” it added.

The concert will feature the iconic tracks of the sci-fi film composed by John Williams that will be performed live by the Filharmonika Orchestra under the direction of veteran music conductor Gerard Salonga as the movie plays out. Gerard is currently the resident conductor of the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra.

Tickets will be available to the public on June 5 with a limited pre-sale on June 3 at 10 a.m. via Ticketworld's website as well as their outlets nationwide.

“Star Wars: A New Hope” was the first film in the “Star Wars” franchise to be released and the fourth chronological chapter in the nine-part “Skywalker Saga.” It starred Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, and the late Carrie Fisher, and follows a group of freedom fighters known as the Rebel Alliance, who aim to destroy the Empire's newest weapon, the Death Star.
