Metropolitan Museum of Manila offers art workshops for all ages
The Metropolitan Museum of Manila in Taguig is launching a month-long series of art workshops beginning this June.
M Art Studio: Creative Summer Sessions will feature various workshops led by expert artists from June 18 to July 19, Tuesdays to Saturdays. The classes are suitable for art enthusiasts of all ages, so you can gather the whole family to get crafty this summer!
The classes are Maker's Studio (10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.), Foundations in Art (12 noon to 1:30 p.m.), Sustainable Sculptures (2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.), and Art for Myself (4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.). Each session stands alone and lasts for an hour and a half.
Walk-in participants or those who wish to try only one session may do so for P2,000 each. Sessions are priced at P1,500 each for those who sign up for two classes, while sessions are priced at P1,200 each for those who sign up for four classes.
All materials are included in the session, as well as admission to the museum. Participants who complete four sessions will also receive a Certificate of Attendance and the opportunity to exhibit their work in the museum for a limited time.
The Metropolitan Museum of Manila is open Tuesdays to Fridays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
