The rerecorded version of Taylor Swift's hit song "Look What You Made Me Do" got featured in the latest episode of "The Handmaid's Tale" Season 6!
According to a report by Billboard, the song was played almost in full during the ninth episode of the dystopian series titled "Execution," where the handmaids came together for a planned uprising led by June Osborne (Elisabeth Moss).
Shortly after, fans on X (formerly Twitter) expressed their excitement over the much-awaited release of "Reputation (Taylor's Version)" album, which includes the track.
"Reputation," which was released in 2017, is one of the two remaining albums of Taylor that has yet to be rerecorded. The other one is her self-titled debut album.
Meanwhile, "The Handmaid's Tale" is based on the best-selling novel of the same name by Margaret Atwood. The story is about a totalitarian regime that forces fertile women to reproduce for elite couples.
