Following viral reports, Nico Waje says, 'There are so many of us working hard behind the scenes'
Nico Waje of GMA Integrated News has been trending on social media following his viral video reports on typhoons Crising and Dante. .
On Facebook Wednesday, the Kapuso reporter said he was aware of the comments and reactions of netizens in his reports, and that he is thankful for the kind words and appreciates them.
Praises aside, Nico also acknowledged his fellow journalists "who give their all every day just to keep the public informed."
"I'm not the only one doing this," he said. "There are so many of us working behind the scenes."
"Mag-ingat tayong lahat please!" he added. "Really appreciate you all!"
In its 11 a.m. bulletin on Wednesday, state weather bureau PAGASA said Signal No. 1 is raised over four areas in Luzon as Tropical Depression Emong is expected to make landfall.
The following areas are under Signal No. 1:
- Ilocos Norte
- The western portion of Ilocos Sur (Sinait, San Juan, Cabugao, Santo Domingo, Magsingal, Bantay, San Ildefonso, San Vicente, Santa Catalina, City of Vigan, Caoayan, Santa, Narvacan, Santa Maria, San Esteban, Santiago, City of Candon, Santa Lucia, Santa Cruz, Tagudin)
- The northwestern portion of La Union (City of San Fernando, San Juan, Bacnotan, Luna, Balaoan, Bangar, Bauang)
- The western portion of Pangasinan (Dasol, Burgos, Agno, Bani, Bolinao, City of Alaminos, Mabini, Anda)
