Alden Richards, Dustin Yu, Bianca De Vera join relief ops in Bulacan and Quezon City

Alden Richards, Dustin Yu, and Bianca De Vera helped in handing out relief goods to residents in Bulacan and Quezon City affected by the recent typhoons.

According to Nelson Canlas' report on "24 Oras," Monday, Alden personally delivered help and talked to those residing in Barangay Sto. Niño in Malolos, Bulacan.

"I need to get out of my way and help," Alden said. "Sino-sino bang magtutulungan kundi tayo lang mga Pinoy, 'di ba?"

Meanwhile, Dustin and Bianca came together in Quezon City and helped in giving out relief bags.

Following the onslaught of Tropical Cyclones Crising, Dante, Emong, and the Southwest Monsoon or Habagat, a state of calamity was declared in 192 cities and municipalities, including the entire provinces of Cavite, Bataan, Pampanga, Rizal, Laguna, Oriental Mindoro, and Negros Occidental.

On Monday, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council reported that the death toll has increased to 31, with most of the fatalities coming from Metro Manila.

According to PAGASA, the Southwest Monsoon is expected to continue bringing rains over the Philippines. The Ilocos Region, Abra, Benguet, Zambales, and Bataan will have occasional rains. —Carby Rose Basina/MGP, GMA Integrated News
