Ara Davao continues to mourn her father, the late Ricky Davao, and paid tribute to him with a poem.

In an Instagram Reel, Ara shared video clips of personal moments with the veteran actor, which she narrated with a touching poem.

It starts, “If I could see you one more time, I know just what I’d do, because all I've thought of since you left is one more day with you."

In her caption, Ara said that she misses her father every day, and added that it’s hard to believe that six months have gone by since Ricky’s passing.

According to Ara, she still doesn't know how to answer the simple question, "How are you?"

"People say time heals everything, but I’m not sure that’s true for a grieving heart. I think you just learn to live with missing them, to carry the loss alongside the laughter, the joy, and the love that never fades," she sad.

The family announced Ricky's passing in May, after facing complications related to cancer. He was 63 years old.

Tributes from fellow celebrities instantly poured in on social media.

With a career spanning over 40 years, Ricky is best known for his roles in "Abot Hanggang Sukdulan," "Saranggola," and "Ipaglaban Mo The Movie," which earned him accolades from FAMAS, Gawad Urian, and the Metro Manila Film Festival, among others.

Ricky made a memorable performance as Governor Emil in “Sang’gre,” with his last appearance happening in September.
