Jessica Sanchez plans to release new album with Filipino songs in 2026
Jessica Sanchez is gearing up to release a new album in 2026!
During her courtesy call on President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and First Lady Louise Araneta-Marcos at Malacañang Palace on Tuesday, the Filipino-American singer said she is set to release a new album in the first quarter of 2026.
"I'm planning on doing some Tagalog songs and also collaborating with some Filipino artists," Jessica said.
"[I'm] very excited to be representing the Filipinos and excited for you guys to hear new music," she added.
The winner of "America's Got Talent" Season 20 is in the Philippines to perform at Newport World Resorts' New Year countdown event on December 31 at the Manila Marriott Grand Ballroom in Pasay City.
This marks Jessica's first performance in the country following her win on "America's Got Talent." She was last in the Philippines for a performance at the Miss Universe Philippines 2023.
She is also set to perform in the 2026 Association of Southeast Asian Nations Summit and Related Summits in Cebu, which the Philippines will chair in May.
Jessica first joined "America's Got Talent" at age 10, reaching the semifinals. She later rose to fame as the runner-up in "American Idol" Season 11.
She made a grand "America's Got Talent" comeback in July, where she sang "Beautiful Things" by Benson Boone and earned a golden buzzer from Sofia Vergara.
In the finale episode of the competition, Jessica delivered a powerful performance of "Golden Hour" by JVKE.
