UP Open University announces 28 free online courses for January to June

The University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) has released its January to June 2026 Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) calendar, offering 28 free self-paced courses through its UPOU MODeL platform.

On Facebook, UPOU said the course lineup includes four new offerings, including topics on child behavior management, data annotation for BPO professionals, climate information services, and child behavior support at home.

The courses are open to anyone who wants to learn for free, with 16-hour e-certificates available upon completion.

Here is the full course schedule from January to June:

  • Practical Home Behavior Management for Children with Special Needs (NEW)
  • Data Annotation for Aspiring BPO Professionals (NEW)

Interested learners can sign up on the UPOU MODeL platform and self-enroll in courses once enrollment opens, usually two weeks before the course starts.
