Nicole Borromeo, Apriel Smith appointed as Cebu delegates for Miss Universe Philippines 2026

Nicole Borromeo and Apriel Smith have been named Cebu's representatives for the Miss Universe Philippines 2026 pageant.

On Sunday, Nicole was officially sashed as Miss Universe Philippines – Cebu Province 2026, while Apriel received the title Miss Universe Philippines – Cebu City 2026 during the announcement ceremony.

Nicole previously represented the Philippines at Miss International 2023, where she finished as third runner-up.

Meanwhile, Apriel competed in Miss Universe Philippines 2020, earning a Top 16 finish.

Another beauty queen making a comeback is Bella Ysmael, who has been named Miss Universe Philippines – Taguig. She previously competed in Miss Universe Philippines 2020 as the representative of Parañaque City.

The current Miss Universe Philippines titleholder is Ahtisa Manalo of Quezon Province. She represented the country at Miss Universe 2025, where she was named third runner-up. —Hermes Joy Tunac/MGP, GMA Integrated News
