'Cleanfluencer' thins grass, plant growth to clear roadside for motorist safety
A police officer who aims to give motorists proper and safe roads is dubbed as a "cleanfluencer."
According to Oscar Oida's report on "24 Oras," Monday, Police master sergeant Eugenio Sarabello thins the grass and other plant growth along the roads of his hometown in Cebu.
Sarabello said that he previously got into an accident due to messy grass on the road.
Sarabello spends a whole day thinning plant growth by the road, sometimes even lasting until nighttime. But he said this does not affect his job as a police officer, as he does this on his days off.
So far, some people recognize him and even stop their vehicles to greet him.
He said he plans to continue his mission as long as he can.
—Nika Roque/MGP, GMA News
