Maki's 'Dilaw' features in Singapore PM Wong's ASEAN Summit video clip
Maki's hit song "Dilaw" just got featured in Singaporean Prime Minister Lawrence Wong's social media post!
The video, which Wong posted on his official Facebook page and Instagram account on Thursday, showed his arrival in Cebu for the 48th Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit and Related Meetings, which was held from May 6 to 8.
With "Dilaw" as the background music, the clip featured Wong's arrival at the Mactan-Cebu International Airport, as well as various attractions and infrastructure, including the Cebu–Cordova Link Expressway, Fort San Pedro, and the Magellan's Cross, among others.
"Received a warm welcome in Cebu for the 48th ASEAN Summit. There’s much to discuss, especially the regional impact of the Middle East crisis and how we should respond. Look forward to a productive day of meetings tomorrow," Wong wrote in the caption.
Indeed, leaders of member nations of the ASEAN called for peace in the Middle East, as said by President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. in a press conference on Friday.
“Again, until the fighting ends, until the bombings end, it is very difficult to put together any kind of solution—if you want to call it that. That is why the call essentially is peace now,” Marcos said.
The Philippines hosted the ASEAN summit for the fifth time, with leaders from 11 member nations convening in Lapu-Lapu City for the summit and related meetings.
