Carly Rae Jepsen announces double album 'Day and Night' out in September

Mother is back!

Carly Rae Jepsen announced that her new double album, "Day and Night," is coming out on September 18.

"Exploring and dancing through two distinctly different landscapes. Day being more open-eyed, organic and earthbound and Night being more escapist and even intense at times," the "Call Me Maybe" hitmaker said on Instagram.

Carly said in another post that she "couldn't be more proud" of the double album.

The new era will kick off on Friday, June 26, with the double album's first single, "On Wires."

Recently, Carly Rae started sharing cryptic Instagram posts of poetic lines, a place, and a date.

Carly's last full-length release was "The Loveliest Time" in 2023, a companion album to "The Loneliest Time" from 2022.

She also dropped the 10th anniversary edition of her album "Emotion" in 2025, which features four new songs.

Carly was among the headliners of the Wanderland Music Festival in 2023. While in the Philippines, she explored Intramuros and enjoyed some dirty ice cream.
