CCP warns public vs. fake online listings selling government-owned property

The Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) has warned the public against fraudulent social media posts falsely claiming that portions of the CCP Complex in Pasay City are for sale.

In an advisory posted on their social media pages on Wednesday, the CCP said it has received reports of an online post offering a supposed "23.8-hectare" property covered by Title Nos. 75681 and 75676.

The agency clarified that all CCP properties are government-owned assets and are not for sale.

“The CCP has not authorized or accredited any broker, agent, or representative to negotiate or sell its properties,” it said.

“Any documents, sketch plans, or listing titles being circulated online for this purpose are unauthorized and fraudulent.”

The agency also urged the public not to engage or transact with any individual or group claiming to sell government-owned CCP properties.

“If you encounter similar listings or have been approached by anyone claiming to sell government-owned properties, please report the matter immediately through the CCP’s official contact channels,”

Created in 1966, the CCP is the country's premier institution for arts and culture. It hosts several art and cultural events such as theater shows and art exhibits.
