SB19, Be:First bring playful chaos in 'Toyfriend' music video

Toys have invaded the world in the music video for SB19 and Be:First's collaboration song, "Toyfriend."

Set in Japan, the video opens with a shot of a strange cloudy sphere above the Tokyo Tower, which projects rays of light towards different parts of the city.

Floating toys then began to appear, such as a gashapon capsule, rubber duck, matchbox cars, robots, and soldier figures.

Members of SB19 and Be:First also danced inside a claw machine, as if they are the toy prizes inside.

Other toy images include a photo booth commonly found in arcades, tetris blocks, dating sim, plastic model kit, slot machine, a basketball, and more.

The playful music video offers a contrast to the song's lyrics, which expresses a guy's feelings of being toyed with by his partner.

The "Toyfriend" music video was released on Tuesday, a few days before SB19 and Be:First perform in different stages in the Summer Sonic Festival.

The P-pop Kings will perform at the Massive Stage in Osaka on Friday, August 14, and at the Pacific Stage in Tokyo in Saturday, August 15. Meanwhile, Be:First will perform at the Marine Stage in Tokyo, also on Saturday.

The collaboration track was released in March as part of SB19's "Wakas at Simula" album. The two groups debuted the song at the DUNK Showcase in Yokohama and then performed it in the Wakas at Simula: The Trilogy Finale concert at the SMDC Festival Grounds.
