Dennis Trillo proud of Jennylyn Mercado's music comeback

Dennis Trillo is truly Jennylyn Mercado's number one fan.

At the launch of the Ultimate Star's new EP, "Jen Deluxe," GMA News Online asked Dennis how he felt about the new release.

"I am so proud. I am so happy for her," he told GMA News Online in Filipino.

"Maybe you've heard her story before that music is her first love, so it's great that we have this to celebrate her passion and natural talent," Dennis added.

The Kapuso Drama King also found it difficult to choose a favorite song by his wife.

"There are lots of great songs here. But of course, one of my favorites is the one she wrote for me, 'Paulit-ulit Kang Pipiliin.' Aside from that, almost every song, it's all great," Dennis said.

"All the songs have different moods so the collaboration with songwriters is good because different feelings and emotions are felt in every song."

Meanwhile, Jennylyn said that Dennis is "the most supportive husband, the most supportive friend."

"He is really my calmness, my peace. When I am with him, he calms my whole being," Jennylyn said.

"Jen Deluxe" comes out on streaming platforms on August 21. —MGP, GMA News
