Alice Dixson opens up about motherhood and love life
Alice Dixson opened up about her motherhood journey in her 50s and the joy in her steady and low-key relationship.
On Monday's "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," the actress described her daughter Aura as her "magnum opus" in life.
"She's my continuing journey of always wanting to motivate myself, she is my inspiration and my motivation to become a better person and I never really knew how much motherhood could change me for the better," she said
"[You] want to nurture someone to become a better version of themselves, more than what I have achieved."
She also said her love life has "never been better."
"Fulfilled, happy, content, because everything that I've wanted in my life has arrived in this chapter and so I'm just taking care of it," she said.
According to Alice, her long-time partner and the father of Aura is now back in the Philippines with them.
"Aura's dad is a hotelier and that's why we travel a lot, we travel a lot for his work or just because we want to visit him wherever he is."
She added that she requested for him to find work in the Philippines, explaining that "children who are living apart from both parents, even if you are amicable, is very difficult."
Alice and her partner welcomed Aura in 2021 via surrogacy.
In a 2021 interview on "Unang Hirit," she said that she had her eggs frozen at the age of 42.
