Prince William ‘constantly’ reminds children of ‘granny Diana’
Britain's Prince William said he keeps the memory of his mother alive for his children by "constantly talking about granny Diana" in a new documentary broadcast on ITV and HBO on Monday.
The film about Britain's Princess Diana aims to tell the story of her life and death from the perspective of Princes William and Harry, who spoke publicly at length about their relationship with their mother for the first time in the film.
The documentary includes a conversation between Prince Harry and Sir Elton John about Diana's work in raising public awareness and understanding of HIV/AIDS. The two also remark on Diana's penchant for making people smile, with Elton John saying the Princess "had this incredible ability...to make people feel that everything is going to be alright."
"Diana, Our Mother: Her Life and Legacy", was released to coincide with the 20th anniversary of the royal's death in a Paris car crash on August 31, 1997. — Reuters
